About Geoff
Born in 1954 in Ramsgate, Kent, Geoff Rouse initially trained in engineering. Following a family tradition of serving in the Home Counties regiments, he volunteered for the Queen’s Regiment.
After this he began a career working with challenging and traumatised children. He continued in this line of work until he retired.
He has been a published author for some years and writes under his own name and under ‘Arthur Blaedon-Foote’ when writing for children.
Having studied military history since his youth, his writing stems from a lifelong interest in the subject.
He lives with his wife in Broadstairs and spends his time with his family and for relaxation keeps bees.
